Carefree Inn Flatonia

I stayed here this week and was pleasantly surprised since the outside does look a bit rough. The woman at the desk was pleasant, it was quiet overnight, the room was clean (no bugs seen anywhere), the A/C was ice cold, free wi-fi, and the room even had a microwave and mini fridge. The hotel is right across from the street from McDonald's and there is a Dollar General right down the road where you can pick up food and other items.

Good location for resuming my travels in the morning. Found a local donut shop.

This is the second time in the past year that my friend and I stayed at the Carefree Inn. Positive noteworthy points include ease of booking, relatively affordable (we are both on disability), and allowing pets is a huge help, especially because it's so affordable.

Friendly and professional

Our speedy check in after a long day traveling was so appreciated. The room, our favorite, was extra clean, and as always, the beds are really comfortable. Check out was smooth, and the reasonable rate allows us to travel more often.
